Jay Pathak > Lead Pastor
Jay Pathak is the Lead Pastor of the Mile High Vineyard. Prior to planting our church in 2001, he served as a leader in the Columbus Vineyard’s young-adult ministry, Joshua House, and as an intern to the senior pastor, Rich Nathan, in Columbus, Ohio.
As the Lead Pastor of the MHV, Jay strategically guides the mission and vision of the church as a whole, is the main teaching pastor and provides oversight to each of our neighborhood churches. He has spoken nationally and internationally for Vineyard and other groups in both conference and classroom settings. In addition, he is a member of Vineyard USA’s Executive Team.
Committed to engaging and impacting those outside the church walls, Jay created the Engage video series with Carl Medearis – a seven-week course designed to create space to discuss the person and teachings of Jesus in an non-threatening environment – and co-wrote the book, The Art of Neighboring, with Dave Runyon. This unique and challenging book asks the question: “What is the most loving thing I can do for the people who live right next door?”
Jay has a BA in Philosophy from The Ohio State University and is a graduate of the Vineyard Leadership Institute. He and his wife, Danielle, were married in 1998 and have two daughters, Jasmine and Sofia.
Danielle Pathak > Spiritual Formation and Staff Pastor
Danielle Pathak is the Spiritual Formation and Staff Pastor for the Mile High Vineyard. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Danielle moved to Colorado in 2001 with her husband, Jay, to plant our church. Over the years, she has found a deep love and passion for introducing people to Jesus and also encouraging them to invest holistically in the health of their lives. She's used those gifts to oversee our Women's, Marriage and Wholeness Ministries as well as work as the Ministries Pastor for several years. A couple years ago, Danielle started to lean into learning about spiritual formation and in 2013, she pursued training with Dave Nixon and completed the Vineyard's Denver School of Spiritual Direction.
Now, in her vital role of Spiritual Formation Pastor, she oversees our growing staff and core leaders with spiritual oversight and growth plans. She has a love for seeing people grow and stretch in their lives with Jesus and for them to reach "outside the box" in the ways they connect with God. Danielle has a profound gift in making spiritual disciplines accessible to others and showing us what it's like to grow and form our lives with Jesus. She is currently implementing and overseeing a "soul care" culture with trainings and exercises for our staff and leaders, and she has helped build a high value for spiritual direction (having one-on-one companionship on our spiritual journeys) at the Mile High Vineyard.
Danielle has a BS in Human Development and Family Studies from The Ohio State University. She and Jay were married in 1998 and have two daughters, Jasmine and Sofia.
Corey Garris > Pastor & Chief of Staff
Corey Garris is Chief of Staff at the Mile High Vineyard. He joined our staff in January 2014, as the completion of a ten-month journey he and his wife Cyndia had embarked on to determine the Lord’s direction for their future. Prior to working at MHV, Corey oversaw the development of campuses at Vineyard Columbus, was a campus pastor himself, and also helped send out church plants.
Corey knows firsthand the impact that the Gospel, good leadership, consistent discipleship, and living life in community can have on someone. He’s passionate about seeing Jesus transform lives in our city and about neighborhood churches being life-giving communities that profoundly impact their neighborhoods and communities. As Chief of Staff, Corey is responsible for supplying pastoral care and leadership to the church as well as overseeing the development of MHV Neighborhood Churches throughout the Denver metro area.
Corey is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a degree in Criminal Justice. He and Cyndia have been married since 2003 and have two daughters, Ava and Rylee.
Becca Knudsen > Executive Pastor & Westminster Vineyard Pastor
Becca Knudsen serves as both the Executive Pastor for the Mile High Vineyard and the Pastor for the Westminster Vineyard. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Becca moved to Colorado in 2005 with her husband Chris to pursue a Masters in Music at the University of Colorado. While in school, she realized and embraced her desire to do ministry. She worked part time for the church until she graduated from CU and then came on full time.
As our Executive Pastor, Becca oversees all the logistical and tactical needs of the Mile High Vineyard. Becca has helped to establish more structure and systems in the church to allow for church growth and excellence in all we do. One of the key systems she has developed and implemented is called "peace management," which helps our staff, church and many others learn to mange their lives better so they live from a place of peace, rather than from a place of stress.
As the Westminster Vineyard Pastor, Becca oversees all aspects of this vibrant neighborhood church – from pastoral care and Life Circles development to recruiting, team building and city relations – all with the hope to see lives transformed in our church and in the city of Westminster. She helps the Westminster Vineyard live out MHV's vision – that as we allow Jesus to transform our own lives, we in turn help bring transformation to lives around us as we engage our neighbors and do church right where we live.
Prior to moving to Colorado, she was involved in the Grove City Vineyard and served as a Young Life Leader for five years in Columbus, Ohio. Becca and her husband Chris, whom she met in middle school, were married in 2004. They have two children, Eloise and Soren.
Anabeth Morgan > Worship Pastor
Anabeth Morgan is the Worship Pastor for the Mile High Vineyard. Originally from a suburb of Memphis, Tennessee, Anabeth has always loved the church. It was within the walls of the Vineyard Church in Kansas City, MO that she began to feel God tugging on her heart to lead others in worship. With the help of wonderful leaders and friends, she began her journey in worship leading. Her heart is to see God's Kingdom come to earth so that people would be healed, set free, changed and moved to say "Yes!" to Jesus. She joined the MHV staff in 2011.
As our Worship Pastor, Anabeth oversees the worship and audiovisual ministries for both Arvada and Highlands. This includes all worship and A/V aspects of our Sunday and Kids (Launch) services, small groups and various other events. Plus she mentors and raises-up new worship leaders and musicians. In addition to her role at our church, she serves Vineyard Worship for events and has been featured on numerous Vineyard Worship recordings including "Bringing the World to Life," "I Love Your Presence – Live from Phoenix," "Cultivation Generation Live – My Foundation," "Servant Wide Awake," and most recently, "Wonderful - Worship from the 2013 Vineyard National Conference, Vol. 1 (Live)."
Anabeth is a graduate of Mississippi State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Exercise Science and Psychology. She and her college sweetheart, Kyle, have been married since 2003.
Lyndsey Bell > Children’s Church Director
Lyndsey Bell is the Children’s Church Director at the Mile High Vineyard. Lyndsey and her husband Doug moved to Colorado from Pennsylvania in 2009 and, after a recommendation to visit the church and after listening to some of Jay’s sermons online, they knew MHV was the place for them. Lyndsey joined the staff in 2012.
Knowing the impact that even a short amount of time in church can have on a child and living out the firm belief that our Sunday Children’s Church isn't just "childcare" but a place to build relationships and teach kids how to connect with Jesus in their own way, Lyndsey helps develop and foster an atmosphere that is enjoyable enough for kids and families to want to come back to each week but also engaging enough so that everyone is growing in his or her relationship with Jesus. In her role as Children’s Church Director, Lyndsey partners with families in teaching their children about God, community and service. Lyndsey’s goal is for kids to learn how God has created them and how He speaks to them individually and to know that they are valuable, contributing members of our community.
As a parent, she loves learning how to engage with her son about Jesus and believes that Children's Church programming is just one tool that helps accomplish that. She is especially fond of how our programming provides parents with additional resources that are coordinated with what the kids are learning on Sundays. Knowing that her son loves coming to church and engaging with what we do makes her want to provide the same experience to every family that comes through our doors.
Lyndsey is a graduate of Messiah College (Grantham, Pennsylvania) with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Criminal Justice. She and her husband Doug, who have been married since 2001, have two children: Jeremiah and Abigail.
Christian Summers > Lakewood Vineyard Pastor
Christian Summers is the Lakewood Vineyard Pastor for the Mile High Vineyard. A Colorado native, Christian and his family have lived in southwest Denver for over 10 years. They have experience in children's and youth ministry and served as missionaries in the Philippines for two years. After returning to the US in late 2011, they joined MHV early the next year. Christian came on staff in 2013.
Christian is fueled by people and considers himself a catalyst for building community. He brings experience for what it takes to reach people from his past position as Senior Area Director for the Southwest Region of Apartment Life, a national, faith-based, non-profit. His greatest joy is meeting people, hearing their stories and seeing them come to know Jesus. As these things intersect with his love for his hometown and church planting, he gets to do just that in his role on the MHV staff.
As the Lakewood Vineyard Pastor, Christian oversees all aspects of this vibrant neighborhood church – from pastoral care and Life Circles development to recruiting, team building and city relations – all with the hope to see lives transformed in our church and in the city of Lakewood. He helps the Lakewood Vineyard live out MHV's vision – that as we allow Jesus to transform our own lives, we in turn help bring transformation to lives around us as we engage our neighbors and do church right where we live.
Christian is a graduate of Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and Organizational Recreation. He loves sports of any kind, the active lifestyle of Colorado, and the great weather. He and his wife Bridget have been married since 2004 and have three children (Riley, Caedmon, and Eliana) and a mutt named Buddy.
Amy Druck > Justice and Missions Developer
Amy Druck is the Justice and Missions Developer at the Mile High Vineyard. For her entire life, she has sensed a calling to focus on those under resourced in our community, both locally and globally. As a young girl, she always noticed those who the average person would never give a second glance to and jumped at various opportunities to serve them - including teaching soccer to inner-city kids, directing a summer camp for under-privileged children and serving food to the homeless. Amy's dream for Mile High Vineyard is that we would continue to be a missional community - inviting our local community into what Jesus is doing and at the same time interacting with people in our city, in our nation and across the world who are neglected and cast aside.
In her role at MHV, Amy helps develop and coordinate opportunities for the church to participate in missions both locally and globally. In addition, she oversees all the non-profits we work with, ensuring people can serve and plug into those ministries throughout the Denver area. Finally, she also oversees all our Sunday Morning Teams in Arvada.
Originally from Mattituck, New York, Amy and her family moved to Denver where Amy and her husband, Peter, were on staff with Prodigal Gatherings, a local non-profit ministry that worked with street youth and homeless children in Denver. She joined the MHV staff in 2008.
Amy is a graduate from Messiah College (Grantham, Pennsylvania) with a major in Sociology and a minor in Bible. In 2001, she married her childhood friend, Peter Druck. They started a family shortly after getting married and now have three boys: Elliot, Malachi and Ari.

Responding to the Lord's prompting, he moved to Denver in July 2013 to join our staff and to assist in the launch of the Heroic Leadership Institute in Denver.
As the Creative Designer, Jerry oversees the creative media department of the Mile High Vineyard. He has a passion for providing accurate and relevant visual communications as Mile High Vineyard grows. As an Administrative Assistant, Lindsey is a vital member of our team, helping connect people into our church community (through visitor follow-up and Sunday service follow-up) and adeptly managing much of our behind-the-scenes operations (including some financial management). Without Lindsey, many of the things we’ve all come to depend on and expect each week wouldn’t occur. In addition to her vital role as Administrative Assistant, Lindsey loves to do newcomer meetings, where she meets with people one-on-one, learns about who they are and what they're interested in, and then helps connect them into our community. She truly believes in and supports what Jesus is doing in the MHV community and feels privileged to get to be a part of that work in any capacity. Prior to coming on staff, Lindsey worked with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.
Lindsey and her husband Nick, whom she met in college, were married in 2006 and have three children, Ellie, Ava and Eli. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Colorado Denver.

Brittany and Taylor have been married since 2006 and have three children: Anthem, Seth, and Poesy. Brittany is a certified doula with DONA International.

Through everyone's openness and kindness, Joe began to attend Sunday services. MHV quickly became his home church and has been ever since. He came on staff in August of 2012.
As facilities manager, Joe organizes the cleaning, repair, improvements and weekly upkeep for the Arvada Vineyard in order to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment. He also plans and implements space and energy efficiency. His hope is to create and facilitate an environment for people to come and experience community in the life of Jesus.
